2024-2025 School Year Latchkey Enrollment
Latchkey is a before and after school program for students ages 4 years-5th grade. The program runs at Oakwood Elementary on all days school is held. Please fill out a form for each individual child you plan on having attend the program. If you fill out a form prior to your assigned date noted above, your registration will not be valid. Thank you for your understanding!

2024 Summer Latchkey EnrollmentSummer Latchkey is available for grade levels Preschool-5th Grade. Students must be 4-years-old by June 1st, 2024. Your child must be fully toilet trained before entering our program.

Welcome to Portland Public Schools Latchkey and Summer Adventure Program! Our before and after school Latchkey and Summer Adventure Camp are housed at Oakwood Elementary.

We believe that each child is unique and has specific individual needs. It is our priority to provide a high quality program for our families!

SITE RATIOS
Each site is staffed with a Supervisor, Head Teacher and Teacher Aides. PPS Latchkey and the Summer Adventure Program maintain a ratio as set forth by the State of Michigan Department of Human Services. Depending upon the planned activities, the ratio may vary. The ratio for all school-aged children is 1:18.The ratio for children 3 years of age is 1 to 10 and 4 years of age is 1 to 12.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Before School: 6:30 – Start of School Day
End of School Day – 6:00 P.M.
Summer Adventure Program (Children entering Little Raider through 5th grade): 6:30-A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
